Media Center/Learning Commons Information
IDEA Lab Makerspace
The IDEA Lab Makerspace is a hands-on learning area within the Media Center/Learning Commons where students can design, invent, build, collaborate and share using the varied materials available.
Currently, the Makerspace includes Little Bits, LEGOs, LEGO Mindstorm, Ozobots, 3D pens, Dremel 3D printer, Snap Circuits, Makey Makey kits, Arduino kits, a Raspberry Pi, computers for programming in Scratch, Python or HTML/CSS, a jewelry design station, recycled materials for building, art materials for drawing and origami materials for students to use.
The Makerspace is open during all lunches and is available to any student who is eating in the Cafeteria that day by taking a Makerspace Pass and signing out of the cafeteria.
